Quality Georgetown or central Texas chert flints. Flints are good for only 20 to 40 uses depending on the weapon and care given to the flints. Remember that you do have 4 different sides: top front, bottom front, top back, bottom back. You can also nap yar flints with a flint napping hammer to get more use out of it.
